It’s probably really a 3 1/2 but I think the juice is amazing and she makes them all by hand. So I highly recommend going over there instead of buying a $10 smoothie. The flavors there on the chicken for sure and I’ll have to go get a different meal that I might like better before I say too much about the food. If you like empanadas, which I definitely definitely do, this is worth a stop. I spent a few amount of time and Sonata consistently over the last five years and these are pretty authentic so if that works for you, try sausage!
Wow! Just left this place and this chicken was incredibly delicious! Chicken was tasty, juicy and extremely flavorful as were the sides! My husband is Cuban and makes his own beans but he really enjoyed their beans too (which is rare for him). Highly recommend, will definitely be back and plan on bringing my inlaws too (who are also super picky eaters). They were out of the flan, but I bet that would have been delicious- looking forward to trying it out next time. Atmosphere is very cool too. If you're thinking about going, stop thinking and go- you will not regret it. Update: I've come to this restaurant many times now, always as delicious as the first time. Definitely a hidden gem, try it and I have no doubt you will love it.
The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Beans and plantains were also delicious. The dining patio was lush and tropical. We'll be back.
Beautiful restaurant with a natural vibe with plants and wood furniture made by Bolivian artisans. My first thought was it smells just like Tulum, Mexico in here. Owned by my fiancé’s family friends from Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Very traditional, local home cooked Latin American food. BBQ cooked on a wood stove.
This is my third time eating here and every time it’s great.. I almost want to keep it to myself, but that’s not fair.. I highly recommend you try this place. It’s unique delicious and give you the feeling that you’re on vacation in Columbia. The chicken is wood fire cooked, and so tender he falls off the bone
Delicious smoked chicken and sides. Chicken was moist, cooked perfectly, and had a great taste. Sides of sweet plantains and yucca fries were very good, especially with their sauces. Lemonade and passion fruit juices were amazing! Definitely one of the best places to eat around downtown Dunedin. Great service and atmosphere too.
If you’ve been thinking about coming here- just do it. My fiancé and I walked here on a whim and everything was incredible. First of all, we are usually water-only people but the house made lemonade and strawberry juices were refreshing, fresh, and delicious. We got a whole chicken and FOUR sides for $34… you can’t beat that value for incredible food. You can go up MLK to visit them for now since Skinner is under construction!
